Terms of use

The Content Machine is an internal tool provided by Peak Edge Ventures to consultants at its portfolio companies. It is not a public service and there is nothing to pay.

Your account

Accounts are created for named people by Peak Edge Ventures. Sign-in links are single use and are yours: do not forward one to a colleague, because anyone holding it can read your drafts. If you need someone else to have access, ask and they will get their own account.

The drafts

Nothing is posted on your behalf. Every post that reaches LinkedIn is one you read, approved and published yourself, and you are responsible for what you publish under your own name. Read a draft before you approve it: the machine works from real data and it can still be wrong about a number, a date or a claim.

Drafts are written from your firm’s own material, including client and candidate information. Treat what you see here as confidential to your firm and do not paste it into other tools.

Posts you approve and publish are yours and your firm’s. Peak Edge Ventures keeps a copy of the draft, the edit and the outcome so the machine can learn from it.

What we promise, and what we do not

We will keep it working and fix it when it breaks. We do not promise it will always be available, and it is a young system that is still changing week to week. Do not make it the only place something important is stored.

Peak Edge Ventures can change or withdraw the tool, and can suspend an account, though in practice that means a conversation rather than a notice.
